Vyoma was raised in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, prior to her family’s relocation to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Her parents, Pramesh Nandi and Chandni Nandi, gave birth to her in Jamnagar, Gujarat.

She received her secondary education from Chinguacousy Secondary School and her undergraduate degree in psychology from York University.

Before moving to Canada, Vyoma began her modelling career in India, where she appeared as a child mannequin in a variety of print and television advertisements for well-known companies.
